Is Social media a problem in schools?
Date Created: 8th May 2019 - 9 0Social media is a very popular thing amongst us teens, it is why many of us stay awake or somewhat stay engaged in class. But using social media comes with many risks especially in school. I have been victim of being on my phone in class and missed critical material for that subject. Then have a quiz the next day on the material; social media actually could in many cases affect the grade of many teens in secondary education. Phones can’t be banned because teacher and school use social media to promote events or send info to students. So, If phones are a distraction to students and teachers; but also benefits an effective way to inform students, what should be done?
